I was raised in Fortuna, CA and I feel incredibly fortunate to call Humboldt my home. Traveling to various places has only strengthened my appreciation for my hometown. My regular commute between Fortuna and Eureka never fails to amaze me with the incredible scenery that surrounds us here. On weekends, I love exploring new trails, taking walks at the beach with my dog and my loved ones, and attending local events and pastimes that Humboldt has to offer. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, and I have a genuine passion for learning about diverse cultures and backgrounds, as well as trying new foods. I have had the privilege of working with the Humboldt Office of Education, where I assisted members and businesses in my community with their translation and interpreting needs.
