San Pablo

Welcome to San Pablo

San Pablo is a city of approximately 30,000 residents located about 20 miles north of San Francisco. It is adjacent to Richmond, yet enjoys its own distinct identity.

In 2014, San Pablo was the winner of the All-America City Award from the National Civic League. Applicants were required to submit three cases of successful community initiatives. The projects included in the application were Health Element & Childhood Obesity Prevention Task Force, San Pablo Economic Development Corporation, and San Pablo Police Department’s Community Partnership Programs — all noble community efforts.

Tucked in between Pinole and Richmond, San Pablo is on I-80 and is minutes away from Berkeley, Oakland, and San Francisco. It is one of the oldest Spanish settlements in the region, with an area of approximately three square miles.

San Pablo offers a diverse community, affordable real estate, and convenient access to the greater Bay Area and has certainly earned its nickname, the City of New Dimensions.
