Having moved to the Sierra forty-seven years ago from the Bay Area, John Ehret appreciates the best of both worlds. As a real estate broker, helping people find their vacation retreat or full-time is rewarding and the choice to experience this area is positively affirmed.

John began his real estate career in 1994, joining Barry Ward Realty, now Corcoran Icon Properties, as a Broker in the Spring of 1999.

In helping his clients realize their goals, he counts on his experience to serve and inform them. He puts himself in the client's position to make real estate transactions enjoyable and rewarding for them. For John, success comes with their satisfaction. "The most important thing for me is that people feel good about their dealings and choices. After all, we are here to enjoy life and real estate is such a key element in our lives."

John believes in what he sells and services, having lived in the area since 1977.

John's tenure as property manager of full-time rentals broadened his real estate knowledge and experience and time spent helping with a vacation rental program as well makes him aware of the importance of that aspect of the community.
With his wife, he is enjoying the beauty and peacefulness of the mountains and foothills, the people who live and visit here, and the exhilaration that recreation provides, especially skiing, hiking, and mountain biking. "We are so fortunate to live here and I am glad to introduce and share this lifestyle through my work."
