Sales Associate Forest DeSante joined the Petaluma office after years of working in specialized and high-touch service and sales. The Petaluma resident was born and raised in West Marin County and has lived and worked his entire life in Marin and Sonoma counties. Before launching his career as a Realtor, Forest was the Front of House Manager and Lead Server at Sir and Star at The Olema, a fine dining establishment near Point Reyes Station. Prior to that, he was the bar and restaurant supervisor at Bay Club Stonetree, the private golf club in Novato. Forest was also a server at Murray Circle Restaurant at Cavallo Point, a Michelin Star and very fine dining restaurant in Sausalito. Earlier, he was a sales specialist at Any Mountain in Corte Madera and also led outdoor adventure tours on Tomales Bay by kayak with Blue Waters Kayaking, based in Inverness. Like the hospitality industry, that position required a high level of attention to detail, multi-tasking, determining client and customer needs and providing the highest level of service to his clients. I feel like everything I have done has led me to the real estate business and specifically to work in the team environment with Corcoran Global Living. Between the company's excellent reputation, my work ethic and ability to forge lasting and positive relationships by being honest and approachable, I am confident I have chosen the right industry to work in and with the right people. Forest graduated from Sir Francis Drake High School in San Anselmo and studied communications at Santa Barbara City College and College of Marin, where he also played baseball at both colleges. An athlete, he loves to play all types of sports, including summer league baseball in Santa Rosa and golf all over the Bay Area. In winter he likes to spend as much time as possible in the snow by enjoying snowboarding. He is also an avid traveler, having visited the UK, Africa, several Caribbean islands, Alaska, and spent 5 months backpacking around Southeast Asia. Any day outside is a good day.
