At the Marin Association of REALTORS® (MAR) Installation and Awards event this past Monday, Holly Friend and George Crowe were officially inducted as Directors on the MAR Board of Directors. In addition, Holly was recognized with the Next Generation Award, given to members who bring fresh ideas, a proactive attitude, and a new perspective to the real estate industry.
Since its creation in 2010, the Next Generation Award has highlighted REALTORS® who are shaping the future of the industry with energy, innovation, and leadership. Holly stood out for her enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to her clients and community.
A Sonoma County native, Holly loves her hometown of Petaluma and everything the North Bay has to offer. After seven years as a hair stylist, she decided to change careers, drawn to real estate by the opportunity to build lasting relationships and help people achieve their goals. Today, she brings deep knowledge of Sonoma and Marin counties to every client, whether they are new to the area or long-time residents. Holly works out of Corcoran Icon Properties’ Greenbrae office.
“I’m truly honored to receive the Next Generation Award,” said Friend. “It’s special to be recognized by my peers, and I’m excited to continue serving MAR while helping my clients and the community in meaningful ways.”
George Crowe, also newly inducted, has been a Marin Realtor for 20 years. Since 2022, he has been the Marin Sales Manager for Corcoran Icon Properties. Known for his market expertise, honesty, and sense of humor, George balances professionalism with a friendly, approachable style. As a second-generation real estate professional, George has a deep understanding of the industry and a commitment to ethical, client-focused service.
“I’m thrilled to see Holly honored with the Next Generation Award,” said Crowe. “She is a constant source of energy and fresh ideas, and is as dedicated to her clients and the Realtor community as anyone I’ve ever worked with.”
Holly and George both bring their experience, creativity, and dedication to the MAR Board, strengthening the organization and helping guide the future of real estate in Marin County. Their commitment to clients and the community reflects the values at Corcoran Icon Properties, delivering exceptional service while supporting the neighborhoods they serve.
