Ted O'Connell is a third-generation San Franciscan who brings two decades of local Real Estate knowledge and expertise to his position as a Realtor with Corcoran Icon Properties.
As a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser and self-employed businessman, Ted contracted with national and regional lending institutions to appraise complex residential properties in San Francisco and Marin County for over twenty years.
His unique knowledge of the local market has been enriched by his personal experience as a tenant, homeowner, HOA treasurer, and condominium manager. Prior to his career in Real Estate, he managed Branch Sales Operations as Accounts Manager for a personnel service including Fortune 500 clients such as Genentech and Charles Schwab.
After living “abroad” in bucolic Marin County for several years, he moved back across the Golden Gate Bridge to his hometown and is passionate about his adopted neighborhood of Haight-Ashbury/Cole Valley and his favorite SF topics: History, Architecture, Neighborhoods, Parks, Politics, and the Giants.
Ted is an active musician in the local scene with many years of performing, recording, and touring. He enjoys his Italian heritage, urban hiking, and life with multiple cats. He and his beloved Border Collie mix Kip volunteer with the San Francisco SPCA where they trained as a team for the Animal Assisted Therapy program.
