For the past twenty years, Jane Mermelstein has been helping clients achieve their goals. She is service oriented, pays attention to details and has experience in managing complex transactions. This enables her to simplify the home buying and selling process for her clients. She explains the process in plain English, provides information that helps clients make better decisions and strives to make each transaction smooth and successful.
Jane has been involved in real estate since 1985, as a homeowner, investor, marketing consultant to commercial real estate developers and as a Realtor. She has been selling residential real estate in San Francisco since 2002. Besides her consultative style,
She brings skills in negotiating, marketing, problem solving, project management and communication to the real estate profession. In her life before real estate, Jane spent many years as an executive and as a strategy, marketing and operations consultant to large corporations, helping them start new businesses; develop, market and launch new products, and improve their operations to better serve customers and enhance profitability. She was
a frequent speaker to executive audiences, and was an occasional lecturer at both major b-schools in Boston. The key to her success is her ability to listen to customers and stakeholders to understand their needs, to negotiate effective solutions and by surpassing
customers’ expectations by providing excellent service. When not helping clients sell and buy real estate in San Francisco, Jane swims in the icy-cold waters of the San Francisco Bay at the Dolphin Club, where she also serves on the Board of Governors. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Little Jim Club, which raises money for the Child Development Center of California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC). She is a member of several real estate organizations including the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. Jane received her MBA from the Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her undergraduate degree from Tufts University. Born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania, Jane spent many years living in New York and Boston prior to moving to San Francisco.
