James is a native New Yorker who has been a full-time Sonoma county resident for the past 10 years. James has 25 years of experience with prominent financial firms such as UBS, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley in the private banking and wealth management space. Most recently, he was Managing Director of Private Banking at a boutique Multi-Family Office covering Northern and Southern California.

James is honest, trustworthy, has excellent communication skills and always puts his clients first. He is adept in the art of negotiation, having advised high net worth and ultra high net worth clients on banking, securities-based loan transactions, mortgages and other highly complex loan structures. He facilitated and participated in over $750MM in mortgages throughout his career and is an exceptional resource for arguably the most important financial decision in one’s life- purchasing and selling a home.

James has extensive knowledge of most areas in Wine Country, including St. Helena, Healdsburg and Sebastopol, having lived there while rebuilding his home in Riebli Valley. Having rebuilt his home, he has first-hand knowledge of the construction process and has access to a network of contractors and skilled specialists. James is trilingual (English, French, Spanish) and is a world traveler, touring various destinations spanning five continents. In his spare time, James and his wife enjoy hiking, skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving and appreciates all aspects of the art, gastronomy and wine that Northern California has to offer.
