Senior Associate, Jaime Pera, is a life-long Marin County resident. A former executive, Jaime has a deep background with 25+ years of combined finance and residential real estate experience. Jaime is client focused and firmly believes that the home buying and home selling experience should be collaborative and fun. Buyer clients appreciate Jaime's knowledge of neighborhoods, schools, and real estate market. When working with sellers he carefully designs sales and marketing plans that give properties maximum exposure to increase the probability of the home selling for its maximum value. He places the client first, emphasizes communication, and uses his listening, critical thinking, and negotiating skills to add measurable value to real estate transactions. Jaime is very passionate about real estate and knows that thorough preparation followed by attention to detail ultimately leads to the close of a successful transaction and a happy client. His core belief is that when you help people make the right decisions, at the right time, you become their Realtor for life.
Prior to launching his real estate sales career in 2010, Jaime served as Chief Financial Officer in real estate, consumer goods and technology environments, ranging from start-ups to high profile, well-established companies. His real estate expertise was developed while serving as CFO for several large San Francisco Bay Area residential real estate firms: Pacific Union, Cornish & Carey, and Fox & Carskadon.
Jaime is a native of Argentina and is bilingual in English and Spanish. He was raised in Tiburon and Mill Valley, attended St Hilary School in Tiburon, St Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco, and received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Santa Clara. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. An avid reader, he enjoys studying economics, history, people, and cultures. Jaime also serves on the boards of the Marin Bocce Federation and the Marin History Museum.
