This compact suburban neighborhood has two outdoor, shared green spaces along its southern border. Merced Heights Playground is just over an acre and has a playground, basketball courts, and plentiful green space for kids to run, pegging it as an ideal spot for picnics. And Brooks Park is an expansive outdoor space, well-known throughout the city for its community garden where members can grow produce and ornamental plants for personal use.
