About Diablo

Diablo is a census-designated place (CDP) at the base of Mt. Diablo near Alamo and Danville. Its population is just over 1,000, and its total area is approximately 1.4 square miles. The Diablo Country Club, which has been around for more than 100 years, includes a world-class golf course designed by its founder, Robert Noble Burgess. ...

Primarily a residential community, Diablo is served by the County Sheriff’s Department. Emergency and fire services are provided by the City of San Ramon. The Danville Area Chamber of Commerce was created to serve the communities of Alamo, Blackhawk, Danville, Diablo and, initially, San Ramon (which now has its own Chamber). The towns cooperate and collaborate for the greater good.

Diablo’s location between Pleasanton and Walnut Creek afford many urban amenities and opportunities while maintaining a serenely elegant lifestyle.
